Excel is a very powerful application. Unfortunately, it can also be a bit confusing, especially to someone who’s never used it. This week’s screencast will showcase three sections of some Excel training that takes things very slowly and introduces tough concepts in an easy to understand language. Two main topics are covered. Functions and Formulas, which can be tough for non-programmers to understand. The third clip shows you how you can use the Freeze Panes feature to scroll through large spreadsheets.

Do you want to be more productive in Word?  Hot-keys are a simple way to get things done, and to get them done very quickly.  I’m going to show you some simple hot-keys that you’ll probably use every time you work with Word.  They’re easy to remember, and they’re a great time saver.  We also preview Microsoft’s latest version of Word, Word 2007.  The new interface and layout will be quite shocking, but give it some time and I think you’ll love it!
